About Ryan McCarthy

Michael Ryan McCarthy has been involved with the arts almost all his life. From the age of 2 when he could first pick up a pencil he was drawn to the arts. Even at an early age Ryan decided that he was going to be an artist when he grew up.

Now at the age of 28, Ryan is all grown up and living the dream of a Professional Graphic Artist. Ryan has worked in the graphic arts for nearly 12 years. At Smoky Hill High School's nationally recognized art program, Ryan worked toward an art scholarship, and achieved that goal his senior year. He was accepted to the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. After a year of study at RMCAD, Ryan attended a semester at The Colorado Film Institute to try his hand at editing and sound design.

Eventually all roads lead home. Ryan finally came to terms with his passion for graphic design and web design. Although Ryan has been doing freelance websites for 3 years, a formal education was the best road to travel. Ryan now is attending The Art Institute Online and is achieving his Bachelors in Interactive Media and Web Design. He will be achieving this goal by Winter 2010.

Ryan is looking forward to the future of design and wants to make his mark on a wonderful field. With his fiancé, Dionna, Ryan's outlook on life has never been more full of passion, desire, creativity, and design.
